Thanksgiving is just days away! Don't stress if you are not completely ready, the TaSH will have all you need so you can finish your holiday shopping this Saturday at the market.
This Saturday, Nov. 19, the TaSH will be the drop-off location for Sleepy Hollow High School's Coat Drive. The following gently used items (in all sizes) are accepted: coats, gloves, hats, boots and scarves. Men's coats are the most widely needed and used!
Items for donation can be taken to the Green Tree Recycling Tent during market hours - 8:30 - 2.

From 10-11am, join us for a harvest kids' craft with the Tarrytown Nursery School. Create harvest-themed cards for the farmers. From 11-12pm, enjoy pumpkn painting with Emily Hargitai.
Stop by before the end of the market to pick up some apple cider and treats before the start of the Tarrytown Recreation Department's annual Rag-a-Muffin parade held right in Patriot's Park. Neighboring Warner Library will also host its Creepy Carnival at 1:30!
Musical performances this weekend include Steve Chizmadia (8:30-11) and Ang & Ed (11:30-2).
It's officially Halloween weekend in Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow. Head to the TaSH before the annual Halloween parade in town and make sure you pick up food and drinks for your Halloween parties.
Bring the kids at 10am for our Halloween Costume parade and contest (with prizes!) and stay until 11am to enjoy face painting by the Sleepy Hollow witches!
Musical performances this week include Anthony Gach (8:30-11) and Greg Jacquin (11:30-2).
Soup season is officially here. One of the many rituals my grandparents kept from their home countries and passed down was soup. Nearly every dinner of my childhood, no matter the season, started with a bowl of soup. For several weeks my ritual has been to come home from the market and warm up with a bowl of homemade soup. This ritual has allowed me to taste pretty much everything from Bien Cuit, so I can report that any loaf or bun from Bien Cuit is the perfect accompaniment to the soup of your choice. If you have more apples than you know what to do with, and are looking to try a new soup recipe be sure to check out Nancy Duran's weekly recipe.
