Pickle Licious is running a dollar off special on pimento olives this weekend. How convenient, since Greenhook Ginsmiths and Hillock Estate Distilleries return this weekend also.
We missed Acorn Hill Farm last weekend when the heat forced Joyce to stay home and tend the goats. But we expect her back with her amazing goat cheese products, and can’t think of anything more delicious than an in-season tomato and cucumber salad topped with some of Acorn Hill’s delicious feta cheese.
If you missed your fish last weekend, when Pura Vida also stayed out of the heat, they’re expected back. Grilled tuna anyone?
Speaking of tomatoes, the sheer variety at the market is the very definition of summer. Don’t let it pass you by. No fewer than 6 different vendors - Blooming Hill, Mead Orchards, JD Farms, Gaia’s Breath Farm, Fable Farm and Fishkill Farms are flush with a rainbow of tasty tomatoes. Pair them with Kontoulis Family Olive Oil, which joins us this week.
If you haven’t talked to Farmer Tom from Fable about his hydroponic growing techniques, stop by his booth and ask. A fascinating way to grow sustainably! The basil is beautiful!
We’ve got great music for you all day, story time for the kids at 11:30 and it’s gonna be another beautiful day at the TaSH
See you at the TaSH!
