The TaSH Farmers Market is a food-centered, producer-oriented market. Here’s what we value:

  • No. 1: Market Vendors are growers or producers of homemade food or farm products using locally-sourced ingredients. Vendors are selected each year through a rigorous application process and invitations are offered at the sole discretion of the market organization.
  • No. 2: By “local” we mean that all goods sold at the market are grown or produced within 100 miles of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow or within New York State.
  • No. 3: We set the highest priority on farm products that are grown sustainably on family-run farms, using the most environmentally beneficial processes.
  • No. 4: Goods sold at the market are all grown or produced by the vendors selling them. On occasion, we will ask a vendor to sell a small portion of something grown or produced by another local farmer or artisan to enhance the offerings at the market.
